Meet the instructor!
Thank you for your interest in WRITE ON! writing programs. I'm so grateful that my writing courses are helping home school students and parents. I gladly give the credit to God for He is truly the Author of all good ideas! In this case, God gave the idea through a friend. A few years ago, while helping a homeschool student with some writing challenges, her mother suggested that I create a writing course and offer it to homeschool students. As a homeschool mom, I knew how helpful other resources could be for subjects I felt uneasy teaching, and I had heard many parents express a need for writing instruction in their home schools. So I decided to give it a try. God has blessed this endeavor and it is my great pleasure to get to know so many interesting kids through their writing!

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in
English and have had many stories, articles, and teacher's guides published in various inspirational and parenting publications. I have also worked as a newspaper correspondent. In my courses, I use a relaxed approach, helping each student discover his/her own voice. I also incorporate the student's personal hobbies and interests into assignments when possible.
